Margot Robbie responds to the internet’s obsession with her feet

But now, Margot herself has spoken out in response to the internet’s obsession with her feet.

Now, Margot Robbie is an icon.

The Australian actress made her breakthrough performance in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013).

Since then his fame has skyrocketed.

And continued to appear in blockbuster films, such as Suicide squad (2016), I, Tony (2017), Mary Queen of Scots (2018), e Once upon a time in Hollywood (2019).

There is no denying that she has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry.

And recently Robbie embarked on a new venture, appearing in and producing the new movie Barbie.

The new film is written and directed by Greta Gerwig and follows Robbie’s character as he leaves Barbieland behind and enters the real world.

And fans were so eager to learn more about her role, photos from the set leaked online.

Social media users have had a lot to say about the images…

Which featured Robbie and Gosling’s characters clad in neon spandex.

After seeing one of the leaked photos, a Twitter user he wrote:

“The Barbie movie photo leaks seem like a fever dream. Did it really happen? Is there really a movie? Is Margot really Robbie?”

And it seems like it’s gotten a little too much for Robbie.

The actress recently revealed she was “mortified” to discover the leaked photos.

Robbie opened The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon…

Sharing his thoughts on the whole ordeal while also promoting his new movie Amsterdam.

I can’t tell you how mortified we were, though, Robbie said.

We seem to laugh and enjoy ourselves, but die inside. Dying. I was like, this is the most humbling moment of my life.

Jimmy Fallon then asked Robbie if he was aware of the huge media discussion about the photos…

NO! Robbie said. I mean, I knew we had exteriors to shoot in Los Angeles, I knew, OK, once you do exteriors, you’ll get caught.

She continued, “There will probably be a small crowd of people who will stand out, because, you know, we stand out a little bit in those outfits.

“So I knew there was going to be some attention, and probably some pictures would come out, but it didn’t. He was like crazy. It was as if hundreds of people were watching.

Along with those paparazzi photos that have leaked online…

Gosling’s character was also filmed screaming after Barbie punched a man who groped her.

Since then, Robbie has undoubtedly become one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but we bet you didn’t know something about a scene from his film, Wolf of Wall Street.

The 3-hour movie was a jam-packed block of unforgettable wild scenes of pen-selling, dwarf-tossing, and Robbie teasing.

Though the Australian actress played a big part in the film’s success, she was quite bold and insisted on getting naked in her big breakthrough role.

Martin Scorsese’s beloved film is based on the story of controversial stockbroker Jordan Belfort played by Leonardo DiCaprio, with Robbie playing Naomi Lapaglia, Belfort’s second wife in the film.

According to LADbible, her role involved numerous sexual scenes, including a full-length nude scene. Robbie has even admitted that she is concerned about the scenes immortalized on the Internet.

Speaking to The Telegraph in 2014, aged just 23, she said: ‘I think nudity for its own sake is shameful. If they put it just so that a girl takes off her top, then it’s disgusting. And you can always tell.

“But I also think it’s disgusting when someone would get fucked in real life, in the movie they conveniently leave their bra on or lift up the sheet. Seeing someone being choreographed to be covered irritates me just as much,” she said.

And she went on and said that she also gave her suggestions to the director.

“Naomi’s whole point is that her body is her only form of currency in this world. So when Marty [Scorsese] he was trying to help me, and he said in the scene where he seduces jordan that maybe i could wear a robe, i said he wouldn’t. She must be fucked. She is laying the cards on the table,” Robbie continued.

Robbie also pondered filming a memorable seduction scene in the film, telling Porter in a 2018 interview: “You don’t notice it when you watch the movie, but we’re actually in a tiny bedroom with 30 crew crammed in.”

“All men. And for 17 hours I pretend to touch myself. It’s just a very weird thing and you have to bury the embarrassment and the absurdity, really deep, and fully commit,” she added.

However, it seems that the success that followed the film was not exactly what Robbie wanted…

Robbie opened up in an interview with Vanity Fair.

Something was happening in those early stages and it was all pretty awful, she said.

I remember telling my mother, I don’t think I want to do this.

“And she just looked at me, completely serious, and she was like, honey, I think it’s too late for me not to,” Robbie continued.

“That’s when I realized the only way was to keep going,” she added.

Robbie especially had to learn how to deal with the paparazzi.

I know how to get through airports and now I know who is trying to screw me how.

If my mom dies in a car crash because you wanted a picture of me going grocery shopping, or you knock my nephew off his bike for what? For a photo?

“It’s dangerous but still strangely nothing seems to change,” Robbie said.

The way I try to explain this job and this world to people is that the highs are really high and the lows are really, really low.

“And I guess if you’re lucky, it all balances in between,” she concluded.

Most recently, Robbie recalled a scene from wolf of wall street where he had to take shots of tequila to prepare.

And that scene was the sex scene with Leonardo DiCaprio.

If you recall the scene, Robbie’s character Naomi seduces her husband in their daughter’s bedroom.

Although on screen, Robbie looked completely calm and collected, she admitted that she felt “very, very nervous” inside.

“I’m not going to lie; I had a couple shots of tequila before that scene because I was very, very nervous,” she said at a Bafta: A Life In Pictures event in November.

Honestly, I know it sounds silly now, knowing how big the movie has become, the moment I thought, no one is going to notice me in this movie.’

It kind of doesn’t matter what I do in this movie because everyone is going to be focused on Leo DiCaprio and everything else,” he said.

Robbie added, “And I was like, I’m going to slip under the radar.”

But that is not all…

Because earlier this year, the Barbie trailer finally dropped.

It crashed the internet.

But there was one aspect of the trailer that really caught the attention of the internet!

Margot Robbie’s feet!

One user tweeted: “The first shot of the Barbie The Movie trailer is a shot of Margot Robbie’s feet. They know there’s a huge group of kids who would pay to see it in IMAX.

Another quipped “I’m at the point where I think I can pick Margot Robbie’s feet in a setlist.”

Another tweeted, “Margot Robbie’s feet are actually going to make me buy a ticket to Barbie!”

While another added, “CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW BEAUTIFUL MARGOT ROBBIE’S FEET ARE?”

The trailer shows Robbie as Barbie stepping out of her high heels, while her feet retain the typical Barbie shape.

Not only is it an iconic reference to the doll that inspired the film…

But it is true that her feet look really perfect.

Though you wouldn’t expect anything less from Barbie herself…

Right?

But now, months after the trailer’s release, Margot Robbie has responded to the internet’s obsession with her feet.

And it seems that she is not much bothered by it!

The very first time I googled myself, you know how when you google something and it predicts what the rest is going to be? she said.

I had started working and was on a few things and had never googled myself before so I wrote in Margot Robbie and before I finished writing Robbie, Margot Robbie’s feet kicked up.

He continued: I clicked on it and realized that there were zoomed-in pictures of my feet and people were writing about it and someone had made a video collection of footage of my feet and I was like, oh wow, that’s like a thing. I didn’t realize it.

However, she says she’s actually flattered by the whole obsession.

I am [flattered], sincerely. I don’t feel weird about it.

“I think it’s adorable.”
